Position Summary:
Senior Manager of Business Management practice would be expected to manage the existing practice and assume the daily relationship management responsibilities for a variety of entertainment clients. This individual would also be responsible for learning how to become a demand creator for business management.
Qualifications:
- Prefer 10 years in a consulting environment at a minimum.
- Prior tax knowledge is required (5+ years).
- Experience working in business manager role would be a valuable attribute.
- MBA preferred, but not required.
- Must have ability to develop personal relationships is key.
- Most important are good communications skills - both oral and written, and high quality interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of how entertainment (television, film and music) industry works is important.
- Experience working with individuals (vs. large corporations) is important.
- Good business sense and experiences are important.
- Knowledge of tax regulations is important.
- Willingness to work with high profile, sometimes eccentric people while maintaining confidentiality is required.
