The Corporate Demand Planner position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with retail / rental products. Creates and maintains forecast models, basic forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position.
Use and maintain the Demand Planning Logility software as primary forecasting tool to create statistical forecast.
Incorporate business intelligence and forecast information from sales, marketing, finance and other sources.
Review historical trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data to develop statistical forecast models.
Interface with sales, marketing and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
Summarize statistical forecast. Gather, analyze and validate data.
Monitor trends in forecast error and report back to various stake holders.
Prepare relevant material to facilitate and maintain several reports.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Achieve consensus forecast by participating in a collaborative planning process.
Prepare relevant reports to support S&OP meeting.
Responsible for creating supplier forecast and publish monthly forecast to tier 1 supplier(s).
Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
At least three years related experience is required.
APICS or other forecasting certification preferred.
Extensive forecasting experience required.
