Mechanical Inspector
Volt has partnered with a leading manufacturer of aerospace, medical and automotive parts to help identify an experienced Mechanical Inspector to start ASAP. In this role you would be responsible for: performing visual inspection of smaller machined parts which may at times require use of a microscope, and using various measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gages, comparators, ohm meters) to measure the devices. These positions are temp to hire. Currently, we are hiring for 1st shift hours. Positions are full time, 40 hours a week plus overtime as needed. Pay is $14/hr - 19/hr depending on experience. Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 6 months Mechanical Inspection experience. Must have the ability to work with small parts, and utilize a microscope. Must have the ability to document results, knowledge of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerance), and be able to pass a machine shop knowledge and inspection assessment test. Criminal background check and drug test required.
