Our client is a new start-up company specializing in the rental of Airstream Trailers. As a factory-authorized source, they provide a premium vacation experience, including a GMC towing vehicle and exclusive product specification, for customers throughout the United States. An opportunity has now arisen for a General Manager to join their team and take charge of their depot operations in California.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating efficient operations of our client's California branch and ensuring that the highest standards of client and team satisfaction are met.
Leading and managing the customer delivery process, you will ensure customers have a superior vacation experience with our client. You will provide compelling and educational presentations to new clients, taking every opportunity to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable rental.
Tasked with hiring, managing and overseeing the rental depot team, you will motivate, coach and monitor team members ensuring they are held accountable for the achievement of company goals. Monitoring and maintaining company assets, you will make sure that fleet vehicles and accessories are at optimum standards before being hired out.
Your other duties will include:
- Preparing all rental documentation to safeguard the customer and protect our client - Providing assistance to customers regarding directions, maps and general information - Liaising with local dealership management and personnel to support operations - Developing depot business plans to ensure company goals and objectives are achieved - Achieving and exceeding sales and performance targets
To be considered, you must have:
- At least three years' experience of sales and/or servicing within the RV, automotive or rental sector - A minimum of one year's management experience - A BA
Ambitious and driven, as the General Manager, you must be capable of leading and motivating others and possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Professional and upbeat, you must also have a 'whatever it takes' attitude and great communication and organizational abilities.
